Early Education
Start Strong. Start Wyndcroft.
Early Childhood • Pre-Kindergarten • Kindergarten
The earliest years of school matter. They are the years when children begin to see themselves as learners—when curiosity becomes discovery, questions become understanding, friendships begin to flourish, and growing independence gives children the confidence to try something new. At Wyndcroft, we believe those years deserve far more than preparation for what comes next. They deserve an exceptional education right now.
The earliest years establish habits of curiosity, confidence, communication, independence, and learning that children carry forward. At Wyndcroft, those formative years take place in small classes with caring teachers, a broad curriculum, purposeful play, early academics, French, STEM, the arts, movement, character education, and a community that knows each child well.
Our Early Education Division, encompassing Early Childhood, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten, provides a joyful, purposeful beginning to a child's educational journey. In small classes led by experienced and caring teachers, children are known as individuals and encouraged to explore, create, communicate, collaborate, solve problems, and develop the foundational skills that will support increasingly sophisticated learning.
The question isn't simply when your child begins school. It's where.
You aren't simply choosing a preschool.
You're choosing the foundation on which the rest of your child's education will be built.
Three Important Years. One Remarkable Beginning.
Early Childhood nurtures wonder, independence, language, friendship, and the joy of discovery.
Pre-Kindergarten builds upon that foundation with increasingly purposeful academic exploration, collaboration, creative expression, STEM experiences, and growing responsibility.
Kindergarten brings those developing skills together as children take an exciting step forward in reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, French, STEM, the arts, and more—while continuing to develop confidence, character, and independence.
Each year has its own purpose. Each builds intentionally upon the one before it.
Together, they create something much bigger:
A strong foundation for the learner—and the person—your child is becoming.

Early Education Eligibility
Our Early Childhood program welcomes students who turn three by the first day of school and are fully potty-trained. Pre-Kindergarten students must be four, and Kindergarten students must be five by the first day of school.
We also recognize that every child’s readiness is unique. Children who demonstrate advanced developmental readiness may be considered for early placement, with final decisions made by our Admissions Committee following a personalized classroom visit. At Wyndcroft, we thoughtfully balance milestones with individual growth, ensuring each child is positioned to thrive from the very start.
