Academics
Our Approach to Academics
At The Wyndcroft School, we believe in a challenging, yet nurturing, academic environment. We guide students as they develop a strong work ethic, time management skills, discipline, and self-advocacy.
Our faculty uses an updated approach to a classic curriculum to provide a firm foundation, while also cultivating a sense of gratitude and responsibility toward the world around them.
Our Programs by Grade Level
Early Education (Preschool & Kindergarten)
Our youngest students learn through play and discovery, building a powerful educational foundation. In an environment that feels like family, they discover that learning is both fun and challenging. This is a time when they build confidence, self-esteem, and independence, bit by bit.
Lower School (Grades 1-4)
During these elementary years, students grow academically and are challenged to reach higher levels of intellectual achievement with the support of their teachers. Instruction combines teacher-directed lessons, individual exploration, and collaboration among peers, allowing for multiple modes of learning to thrive.
Upper School (Grades 5-8)
Continued emphasis on leadership skills and character development, with guidance from teachers and advisors, is the hallmark of the Upper School experience. By the time they complete eighth grade, students have demonstrated their maturity and readiness for high school.
An Unparalleled Education
The Wyndcroft School guides and nurtures students through a challenging, classic education that is unparalleled in our area.
