The Elementary Years (Kindergarten through Grade 4)
Our Lower School—spanning Kindergarten through Grade 4—is a place where curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning flourish. Students arrive full of energy and wonder, ready to explore, solve problems, and think critically across Language Arts, Mathematics, and Social Studies, while continuing to engage deeply with French, Art, Music, Technology, Science, Drama, STEM, and Physical Education.

School Gatherings
Students in kindergarten and beyond participate in weekly school gatherings that bring the entire community together. Each year, every homeroom has the opportunity to lead and present on a chosen topic, giving students a platform to practice public speaking, express their ideas, and cultivate confidence. These gatherings foster poise, presence, and the self-assurance that carries students forward in every area of life.
Lab Sciences
Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics is at the heart of a forward-thinking education. From Early Childhood and Pre-K onward, students engage in hands-on science labs, exploring concepts in real time and cultivating curiosity, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking. The Learning Commons further enriches these experiences, fostering a deep appreciation for math and science. Through this immersive approach, Wyndcroft students are equipped to navigate and shape the technological world of tomorrow with confidence and ingenuity.
Visual and Performing Arts
Students embark on a rich, cumulative journey in music and drama beginning in pre-kindergarten. Each year, they build on their skills—starting with small ensemble performances, adding choreography and instrumentation, and eventually mastering character work—laying the foundation for the larger-scale musicals and productions of Upper School. Through this immersive arts education, Wyndcroft students develop confidence, poise, and a lifelong appreciation for creative expression.
