Lower School Students Shine on Stage
On Friday, May 8, our Lower School students took center stage and delighted families and friends with an evening filled with music, laughter, and creativity. Under the bright lights of the stage, Kindergarten and First Grade students performed a charming retelling of the beloved children’s book Giraffes Can’t Dance. Through energetic performances of the cha-cha, tango, and waltz, students shared the heartwarming message that sometimes all you need is “a different song” to discover your confidence and shine. Their joy and enthusiasm lit up the auditorium and brought smiles to everyone in attendance.
The evening continued with a lively “half-time” performance by our Second Grade students before Third and Fourth Grade entertained the audience with Rats!, a humorous fairy tale adaptation of The Pied Piper. Filled with catchy songs, colorful characters, and plenty of laughter, the production showcased the students’ hard work, teamwork, and growing confidence on stage. We are so proud of all of our Lower School performers and grateful to our teachers and families who helped make this memorable musical celebration possible.
