Wyndcroft Students Put Non Sibi Into Action to Support Preston’s Pantry
Preston’s Pantry, based in Boyertown, PA, was founded to address food insecurity in the local community. What began in 2018 as a simple food drive led by eight-year-old Preston—driven by his compassion and generosity—has grown into a lasting movement that provides tens of thousands of pounds of food to families in need each year. Following the tragic loss of Preston, his mother Pamela, and his unborn sister Evelynn Rose in the July 2019 flash flood, community members united to honor Preston’s legacy by creating the Preston’s Pantry Project, ensuring that his spirit of giving continues to make a tangible difference.
Wyndcroft K–8 students joined this mission before the holiday break, on December 12, 2025, packing 180 holiday meal bags filled with pantry staples and seasonal favorites for local families. The spirit of giving continued on Friday, January 16, 2026, during Non Sibi Dress Down Day, when students and staff collectively raised $939 for Preston’s Pantry. These efforts allowed our community to live out the Non Sibi values of service, care, and compassion, directly supporting families in need and honoring Preston’s enduring legacy.
Through these initiatives, Wyndcroft students not only contributed to an important cause but also experienced firsthand the power of community service in action.
