Biography

Sarah Kerwin was born and raised in the Pottstown area and was happy to join the Wyndcroft family in 2023 as the Director for the Extended Day Program. Now, she serves as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher, with previous years as a Kindergarten teacher, as well. Mrs. Kerwin first earned her associate degree in Early Education from Montgomery County Community College. She later earned her BA in Early Education, Birth–Kindergarten, from Mount Olive University in 2021 while working in the North Carolina Pre-K program, where she served disadvantaged and military families. Afterwards, Mrs. Kerwin moved back to the Pottstown area, where she briefly taught 7th and 8th grade US history before returning to her roots in early childhood education. She taught Pre-K in Collegeville for two years before starting at Wyndcroft in 2023.

Mrs. Kerwin believes in the importance of learning through play and fostering independence in students. She believes that social emotional awareness is essential for all other types of learning to be successful. Mrs. Kerwin loves reading, spending time with family and friends, and playing outside with her two dog
