Biography

Mrs. Stone has been with the Wyndcroft community since 2018. She is currently the PreK – 8 Technology Integration Specialist and has also been a Third-grade teacher, coach, and advisor during her time at the School.

Mrs. Stone has been part of the Wyndcroft community since 2018 and currently serves as the PreK–8 Grade STEM and Technology Integration Specialist. During her time at Wyndcroft, she has also served as a classroom teacher, coach, and advisor.

With more than 18 years of experience in education, Mrs. Stone brings a passion for hands-on learning, creativity, technology, and problem-solving to her classroom. Prior to joining Wyndcroft, she taught Kindergarten and First Grade and was twice recognized as Educator of the Year.

In STEM, Mrs. Stone believes some of the most meaningful learning happens when things don’t work the first time. She encourages students to take risks, test their ideas, learn from failure, make adjustments, and try again. Whether building, coding, designing, or exploring new technology, she wants students to develop the confidence to ask, “What can I try next?”

Above all, Mrs. Stone believes relationships are at the heart of learning. She strives to create an environment where students feel known, supported, and comfortable taking risks while developing curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and independence.

Outside of school, Mrs. Stone enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, coaching, and staying active.
