Biography

Ms. Waters was born and raised on a boarding school’s campus, in a small town in New Jersey. She has her degree in Elementary Education and English from The College of New Jersey. She is certified to teach kindergarten through eighth grade. Ms. Waters has taught in both public and private schools. As a young educator, Ms. Waters found her start in a New Jersey public school. She taught there for three years, gaining experience with first and second grades. Then, Ms. Waters moved to a rural area of New York and began teaching first grade at a small private school called Mizzentop Day School. It was during these years that she taught first grade, while simultaneously heading the lower school. Ms. Waters finally relocated to Pottstown, Pennsylvania in 2012 and continued her career as a stay at home mom for her two children. When her daughter, Marley turned two years old, Ms. Waters initiated a search for a teaching job and found The Wyndcroft School. She fell in love with the community, the rigorous curriculum, and the Non Sibi motto. Ms. Waters began teaching second grade here in 2016 and is currently teaching third grade.

Ms. Waters loves the summer, playing with her children, reading, baking, and outdoor activities like running, biking, swimming, and hiking. She has two children, Thomas and Marley, who both attend The Wyndcroft School, and two turtles who stay at home. Ms. Waters’s family lives down south and she loves to visit them and facetime with them.
