Biography
Mrs. Elizabeth Paulus has been a member of the Wyndcroft School community since 2006. Although originally from Brookfield, Connecticut, Mrs. Paulus relocated to the area right before her first son was born. Since her start at Wyndcroft, she now has three sons, a current kindergartener, a seventh grader, and one alum now in tenth grade.
Before joining Wyndcroft, Mrs. Paulus graduated from Keene State College in Keene, New Hampshire with Bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Social Science. Her first job was in Richlands Elementary School in Richlands, North Carolina as a fourth grade teacher. It was there that Elizabeth developed her classroom ethics about the importance of making student learning accessible, relevant, and meaningful to her students. Elizabeth has always valued the importance of giving students ownership in the classroom and making lessons interactive.
Mrs. Paulus taught fifth and sixth grade language arts for sixteen years, before starting a new position in 2022 as Wyndcroft’s Chief Academic Officer. Happily, she will continue fifth grade instruction by teaching the fifth grade social studies course.
Elizabeth loves spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys all things Hamilton, experimenting in the kitchen, and cheering on the Philadelphia 76ers.
