Biography
Born in Prince Frederick, Maryland, and raised in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, Hannah Walker graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary English Education. While at Kutztown, Ms. Walker was honored with two university-appointed awards for Outstanding Student Teacher, recognizing her excellence in classroom instruction and student engagement.
In 2021, Ms. Walker worked at Fleetwood Area School District as a daily annual substitute teacher. She also served as a long-term substitute for the English as a Second Language (ESL) program, where she worked closely with students of varying fluency levels and provided one-on-one remedial support to help students transition into the American school system.
Ms. Walker joined The Wyndcroft School community in the summer of 2022. She is currently attending Penn State World Campus in pursuit of her Master’s in Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship. By applying what she learns, Ms. Walker hopes to help Wyndcroft thrive in an increasingly competitive educational landscape—ensuring the School remains the top choice for current and prospective families. The entrepreneurial mindset she is developing will enhance her professional growth and open doors to expanded responsibilities in strategic planning, fundraising, operations, and broader school leadership.
Outside of her life at Wyndcroft, Ms. Walker is deeply interested in music, theater, and art. In her free time, she enjoys drawing and painting, walking her dog, Cricket, and spending time with her family and partner. She loves a cozy weekend in, home-cooked meals, and family game nights. With a deep love for storytelling, she dreams of one day writing and illustrating her own children’s book.
