Exploring the Outdoors at Echo Hill 🌊

From April 22–24, Wyndcroft’s sixth- and seventh-grade students traded their usual routines for a two-night outdoor learning experience at Echo Hill Camp on Maryland’s beautiful Eastern Shore.

During their time there, students encountered a variety of natural landscapes, including wooded areas, open fields, marshlands, sandy shores, and the waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Through activities like studying pond ecosystems, exploring streams, and observing wildlife in its natural habitat, they connected with the environment in meaningful, hands-on ways.

This annual trip is a cornerstone of the Wyndcroft experience, blending education with adventure. It fosters curiosity, builds confidence, and strengthens collaboration among students. Year after year, Echo Hill remains a standout experience—where learning comes alive outdoors and lasting memories are created.
